The Group Safety & Health team hosted the Tata Safety Heads Meet 2025 from March 17-19, 2025, at the L&T Leadership Development Hub in Lonavala. This 3-day event brought together Safety Heads from 55 Tata companies to foster synergy, scale and speed in safety & health initiatives across the group. This Meet was meticulously designed to foster collaboration, share insights, and develop proactive strategies for safety & health.
The objectives of the Tata Safety Heads Meet included:
- Addressing common challenges and opportunities
- Collaborating on cluster-specific initiatives
- Discussing the Tata group’s agenda on safety & health
- Understanding safety plans and initiatives of various Tata companies
- Facilitating networking opportunities between companies

A pivotal aspect of the Meet was the company presentations delivered by respective Safety Heads, which highlighted:
- Top 3 Safety Risks
- Top 3 Best Practices
- Top 3 Planned Safety Interventions
- Top 3 Implementation Challenges for Interventions
The Group Safety & Health team also shared updates on two key actions implemented following the Tata Safety Heads Meet 2024:


With advancements in data, digital technology, and AI transforming all aspects of operations, Praveen Arora, Business Head – IoT, Tata Communications delivered a presentation on the Connected Worker IoT Solution. He emphasised how innovative technologies are revolutionising worker safety and enhancing operational workflows.
Participants were grouped for collaborative discussions on actionable topics for the upcoming year. The critical takeaways from these discussions were then presented to all attendees. The event concluded with an open house led by Sanjeev Singh, Head – Tata Business Excellence Group.
