In FY25, TBExG redesigned the learning agenda for the Business Excellence Champions Programme (BECP 2.0) to empower participants to drive meaningful changes using Business Excellence and Continuous Improvement tools.
The new pedagogy aimed to promote a culture of continuous improvement along with enhanced focus on organisational learning and operational excellence. The programme also supported the development of future leaders who are capable of driving impactful changes.
From May 2024 until March 2025, TBExG facilitated 10 programmes, training over 260 participants on TBEM 2.0 fundamentals, 7QC tools and Lean principles through a case study-led approach. This new programme received encouraging responses from the company sponsors and participants, with an overall NPS of 84.
Driving continuous improvement through actionable projects
Each of these BECP 2.0 programmes ended with participants identifying improvement projects, which were presented to the company leadership. Based on the inputs received, the project charters were modified and teams from the participants were formed to undertake the projects. Over the next few months, the participants leveraged their learning to define and measure the problem areas and identify and implement solutions.
At regular intervals, the project's progress was reviewed by the company leadership, Business Excellence Heads, with support from TBExG consultants and Facilitators, leveraging the structured template for solving problems (A3 template). These reviews helped ensure the projects aligned with organisational objectives, were managed efficiently and delivered the desired outcomes. Overall, these reviews helped in better change management and the likelihood of project success.
BECP 2.0 Outcomes and the Road to ACP2025
After the programmes, participants identified 60 improvement projects, of which 25 are at various stages of completion and 19 have been completed and signed off. The projects were signed off based on the alignment to organisational objectives, usage of improvement tools and techniques and impact and sustenance of improvements undertaken.
On April 16 and 19, 2025, TBExG consultants, including programme facilitators and the companies' Business Excellence Heads, reviewed the 19 completed projects and provided their sign-off. These projects had a positive impact on the customer experience, operational excellence, safety processes and HR processes. Fifty-five participants from these BECP 2.0 programmes who completed these 19 projects are invited to the specially curated Assessor Certification Programmes (ACP2025), which are planned for May 2025.
Impact across key business areas
Below is a snapshot of the projects that were signed off.

The remaining projects are being actively pursued for completion in the respective companies. TBExG plans to conduct the next sign-off in September 2025. The participants who successfully complete their projects will be invited to the next set of ACP programmes in November 2025.
