Shape What’s Next: The TBExG Training Calendar 2026-2027 is Here

Published on October 05, 2026

Explore a refreshed portfolio of learning opportunities anchored in TBEM 2.0 — the core framework for Business Excellence — and supported by specialised pathways that help Tata group companies build future-ready leaders, practitioners and assessors.

Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG) has released its training calendar for 2026-2027. The calendar brings together a structured portfolio of programmes to strengthen excellence capabilities across the Tata group and enables companies to identify learning opportunities aligned with their strategic priorities and capability-building plans.

TBEM 2.0 at the Core

At the heart of the 2026-2027 competency development portfolio is TBEM 2.0, the Tata group’s core framework for driving holistic and sustained organisational excellence. Complementing it are focused learning pathways in Data Excellence, Cyber Excellence, Social Excellence, Safety Excellence and Customer Experience Excellence.

New this year is the dedicated Customer Experience Excellence pathway, including the Customer Experience Excellence Assessor Programme, enabling Tata group companies to strengthen capability in an increasingly important dimension of organisational performance.

From Learning to Application

The portfolio places purposeful, application-oriented learning at its core. Case-based discussions, simulations, group work, experience sharing, and improvement projects help participants translate frameworks into action. Learning alongside colleagues from different Tata companies, industries and functions also brings diverse perspectives into every programme.

Match the Programme to the Role

Leaders build the perspective to sponsor and steer excellence. Programmes such as Embracing Business Excellence for Leaders/Embracing Business Excellence for Managers (EBEM/EBEM), Advanced Programme for Leaders (APL), Data Excellence Essentials for Leaders (DEEL), Cyber Excellence Essential for Leaders (CEEL) and Cyber Excellence Programme for Leaders (CEPL) help leaders understand TBEM 2.0 and domain priorities, nurture the right organisational culture, reflect on assessment experience and shape focus areas for improvement.

Practitioners build the capability to translate frameworks into organisational practice. Business Excellence Practitioners’ Programme (BEPP), Data Excellence Practitioners’ Programme (DEPP), Cyber Excellence Practitioners’ Programme (CEPP), the Affirmative Action Orientation and Practitioners’ Programme, and Safety programmes equip them to design and strengthen processes, lead improvement initiatives and embed excellence within their functions and businesses.

Assessors build the rigour to evaluate maturity and provide insightful feedback. Assessor Certification Programme (ACP), Business Excellence Assessor Programme (BEAP), Subject Matter Expert Assessor Programme (SMEAP), Data Excellence Assessors Programme (DEAP), Cyber Excellence Assessor Programme (CEAP), Customer Experience Excellence Assessor Programme (CXEAP) and the Social Excellence Assessor Pathway develop framework knowledge, evidence evaluation and assessment skills, while recertification, experienced-assessor and advanced programmes deepen capability for subsequent assessment cycles.

Make the Calendar Part of Your Excellence Competency Plan

As organisations shape their development priorities for 2026-2027, the calendar offers a timely opportunity to identify the right learning interventions and build a purposeful nomination plan.
