The competency development programmes offered by Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG) are geared towards further nurturing business & functional leaders for achieving performance excellence in an integrated and holistic manner. The Assessor Competency Development Programme based on “experiential learning methodology” is a step towards being an external business excellence assessor who is unique and immensely valued in companies and across the Group.
To support the competency development agenda of Group companies, TBExG initiated the in-house Subject Matter Expert Assessor Programme (SMEAP2025). The programme enables senior functional leaders with domain expertise in key areas to become Business Excellence Assessors.
Aligned to the TBEM 2.0 Reference Manual 2025-26, TBExG organised the first in-house SMEAP programme for Tata Motors Limited (TML) in February, 2025. The programme was attended by organisational leaders and BU Heads from TML who aspired to contribute to the Group's Business Excellence Journey.
