TNF India West organised an event titled ‘Peoplehood’ at the Tata Management Training Centre (TMTC), Pune on the 5th of April 2023 along with the Group HR. The topic was carefully selected, and the entire program was designed along with the Group CHRO.
An idea called Peoplehood.

This event gave a vanguard opportunity, which was organised in multiple formats and voices that featured in this people capsule. Amongst the three sessions planned for the event, there was a CEO Panel discussion on the topic, ‘Thriving Teams’, where four CEOs of Tata Companies deliberated about 5 themes: Purpose, Wellbeing, Growth, Diversity and Connectedness / Belonging and shared their views on how the leaders are driving these 5 areas in their organisations with real-life examples, insights and challenges – sharing their first-person view. The panel comprised of Mr Rajiv Sabharwal, CEO & MD of Tata Capital, Mr Warren Harris, CEO & MD of Tata Technologies, Mr Vinayak Pai, CEO & MD of Tata Projects and Mr Anand Sen, CEO & MD of Tata International. The panel was moderated by Mr Anand Shankar, Director TMTC.
The panel discussion was followed by a session titled, ‘Sustainable Workplaces’ where a battery of 4 Blue Minters shared their thoughts & ideas in a Ted-style format. They highlighted various sustainable practices based on the businesses their respective companies were in. These 4 Blue Minters comprised of Mr Prajakt Atey from Tata Projects, Ms Aparna Ajith from IHCL, Mr Vishnu Charan from Big Basket and Ms Chandni Derasari from TCS. The session left the audience with a lot of deep thoughts to contemplate upon. It was moderated by Ms Aparna M. Jain from the Group HR.
Post the two sessions, one comprising of senior-most people in Tata companies and another representing the youth of the group, the last session witnessed the launch of the Digital Art Gallery on the topic, ‘Inclusive Mindsets’. Ms Poornima Pandey from the Group HR took the audience through a demo of this new digital gallery which comprised of 21 exhibits covering 9 aspects of inclusion giving a gamified experience to the audience. It was well received by the audience with some of the participants asking for more.
This event introduced the idea of ‘Peoplehood’ to the Tata Group as it became a launchpad of introducing some of the freshest people practices which the Tata companies can adopt in the coming future to make their workplaces thriving with vitality, sustainability, and inclusion.
The program was very well received by the audience with one of the CEOs mentioning that it was the best TNF event that he had attended in recent times.
