Tata Technologies: Sharing the Foundations for Data and AI at Scale
As the host organisation, Tata Technologies offered participants an in-depth view of its evolving data excellence and AI journey through presentations, live demonstrations and experience centre visits.
Tata Technologies showcased PRAMAAN, its data and analytics ecosystem; KOSH, an enterprise knowledge platform; and Chromosome.ai, its framework for accelerating AI application and agent development. Visits to the Engineering R&D Centre, Axia-VAVE Centre of Excellence, Embedded Experience Centre and Digital Studio brought the concepts to life and showcased innovation in action.
Together, these demonstrated how strategy, governance, quality, architecture, knowledge management and AI capabilities are being brought together to support data-driven decision-making at scale.
From Business Challenge to Impact: Practices Shared Across the Group
Rallis India and Tata IQ presented SeedSay, a machine learning-based solution to improve sales forecasting and product placement in the seeds business. The case showed how internal data, external signals and field-level business knowledge can guide granular placement decisions. It also underlined that successful analytics solutions require trusted data, explainability, domain expertise, business ownership and confidence built through use. SeedSay has contributed, along with other corrective actions, to an average ~15% reduction in sales returns, while helping the business move from judgement-led to model-guided placement decisions.
Tata AutoComp, supported by Tata Technologies, shared its intelligent manufacturing architecture and practical AI/ML applications from Tata Toyo Radiators, including radiator core defect inspection and radiator leak-test compensation for environmental variations.
These use cases showed how manufacturing data can drive consistent inspection, reduced subjectivity, lower rework, improved traceability and preventive quality management, with practical takeaways for companies exploring similar opportunities.
Strengthening a Culture of Open Learning
The forum demonstrated the value created when companies go beyond showcasing outcomes and openly share the thinking, experimentation and collaboration behind them. Contributions from Tata Technologies, Rallis India, Tata IQ, Tata AutoComp and Tata Toyo Radiators gave participants practical ideas to adapt within their own contexts.
By creating an environment where companies are encouraged to host, demonstrate and exchange practices, the forum continues to strengthen a connected community committed to advancing data excellence across the Tata Group.
