Tata AIA hosted the first Tata Data Excellence Forum Meet of FY26, and the fourth in the series, on June 27, 2025, bringing together close to 100 leaders, experts and practitioners to deliberate on ‘Driving innovation and excellence through artificial intelligence and Generative AI, built upon a strong foundation of robust data management’. The participants’ sharp insights, real-world applications and Best Practices resulted in thought-provoking sessions and collaborative learnings throughout the day-long meet.

Setting the Stage
The meet commenced with a warm welcome from Venkatachalam Iyer, MD & CEO, Tata AIA. He underscored Tata AIA's commitment to technology-led transformation and customer-centric innovation, setting an inspiring tone for the sessions that followed.
Deep Dive into Data and AI
The morning sessions offered an engaging exploration of the synergies between data and AI, thanks to impactful presentations by Soumya Ghosh and Mayank Singhal, Tata AIA, who anchored the first half of the day. They showcased how AI is already revolutionising customer journeys and significantly enhancing satisfaction across various touchpoints. Attendees gained a valuable behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of Tata AIA's data infrastructure, with its strong emphasis on governance, integration, and long-term strategy.
Abhinav Chandra, Tata Communications, took over the stage from them. He highlighted the critical importance of scalable data systems, and the direct impact of data quality and automation on achieving superior AI outcomes.
The post-lunch sessions continued to dwell on innovation and practical applications of AI/Gen AI. Anurag Jain, Tata Communications kicked off the afternoon with valuable insights on the cost-effective development of AI solutions, offering practical tips on balancing performance with budgetary considerations.
He was followed by Sanil Solanki, Vice President, Gartner Executive Programs, who introduced participants to the ground-breaking potential of Agentic AI. He provided a glimpse into the future of AI by showcasing key use cases on how autonomous AI agents are actively reshaping various industries.
The final expert session was delivered by Sahil Verma, Sr. GTM Specialist Solutions Architect - Gen AI, AWS. He shared intricate technical frameworks and deployment strategies during his presentation, ‘Architectures and Insights from Agentic AI Deployment’. The session was enrichened by architectural diagrams, real-world deployment stories, and invaluable lessons gleaned from practical experience.
Fruitful and Collaborative
Concluding the forum, Naman Gupta, Consultant, TBExG, provided an update on the ongoing Best Practices Programme and shared his closing thoughts on the day's key takeaways. The event culminated with a formal vote of thanks by Remya Mudliar, Senior Manager, TBExG, who is the Value Manager for the Data Excellence Forum.
