TBExG conducts a Business Excellence Practitioners' Programme for Tata Motors Finance Limited

Published on July 07, 2017

TBExG organised a BE Practitioners' Programme for the key managers of Tata Motors Finance Limited (TMFL) in Mumbai, in June 2017. Around 20 managers from an eclectic mix of functions actively participated in the sessions. The programme was arranged to kickstart TMFL’s transformation journey and the company’s desire to train their senior managers on the path of excellence with help from the TBEM framework principles. The main objective of the programmes was to make the participants torchbearers of business excellence (BE) in their organisation.

The programme was customised to the requirements of the company and was designed in a workshop mode by TBExG. The TBExG team finalised the programme content and pre-work design after a series of discussions with the company on the objectives and purpose of the programme. During the programmes, the core concepts of excellence were delivered with detailed exercises around the company's key processes. The participants were trained on the various process diagnostic tools and came up with process improvement ideas, including a way forward plan for TMFL’s BE journey. During the programme, Jitendra Jadhwani, Head, Business Transformation, TMFL, interacted with the participants to share his views on the company's plans, and the important role TBEM plays in making excellence central to everything the company does. Participants from TMFL found the programme very enriching and appreciated it.

The programme was facilitated by Sanjeev Singh, AVP, TBExG, with insightful inputs from Anil Menghrajani, AVP, TBExG.
